Say hello to the professional whisky taster

Say hello to the professional whisky taster :)

Oh what a crazy day.
after writing my last page yesterday I came back to my hostel and there I've met Tim.
After a short chat he agreed to come with me to another castle (can't remember it's name) and that was the first thing we've done in the morning after breakfast is to go to that castle. Tim has a car what we thought will make things mach more convenient. Of course we weren't absolutely right, we've found out that the signs in Ireland really likes to play hide and seek, sometimes they are behind the trees, sometimes inside the bushes, sometimes they are behind you, and sometimes they are in the junction itself so you can see them only after you've made the turn. finally we've made it to the castle and it was closed until 11:00 am. Luckily I've bought yesterday's evening a pack of cards, so we could play Doorak near the castle.
The castle was nice, you know, all those stories about noble people who killed all their family and finally found themselves locked in a prison. I thought that was the time for me to leave to Killarney but Tim said that there is a whiskey distillery nearby... and you know me, will I say no to whisky?
So we went there and you can see the pictures. At the end of the tour the instructor asked for a volunteer, and like I learned in the army... you know the answer ;)
The instructor asked us to taste 5 types of different whisky and to say which is the best.. nice test I must say :) so after drinking a lot of whisky I've got a note of a professional whisky taster :) So Schoona, now I'm a professional whisky taster.
After the whisky distilleries we decided to go to an old military castle, this was actually a modern castle which was built to defend the Irish port on the 16th century. there I had the time to tell all my stories on the art of war (Tim was very interested). there was a great view from the castle and when i went to the guarding post I felt like I'm in the top of the world, there was a sunny weather and a very powerful wind there and no matter how mach I will write I will never be able to describe the feeling up there (but at least you've got some pictures of the place)... mmm I guess that's it, after that I've said goodbye to Tim and took the bus to Killarney with a promise that i will meet him in two days. that's it for now... I'm now in Killarney and my hostel is 8 km far from me and I have no clue how i'm going to get there, but you know me, I'll be alright :)
have a nice time where ever you are, and Melany I'm coming back at the 26... prepare the pubs ;)
See ya all Love you and I know my english is bad, but the internet here is too expensive for grammer check.

Travelling alone

Hi there!

First of all I want to wish happy birthday to my father Uri!
Happy birthday Dad! have a nice time see you on the 30 of August
So how's there in Israel guys?
still hot?
I've started travelling alone since yesterday... It is so different...
It is a bit frightening at the start... because you don't know what to do and you are very anxious to do something. So I was a bit in shock when I've arrived to the youth hostel after a while I became relaxed...I've met a young French girl in the youth hostel this morning and we've decided to go to Blarney castle... She taught me a bit of French and took most of the pictures. It was very hard to communicate with her because she knew only a few words in English. The place is very nice, except the castle there is a great nature reserve there and we were walking there for hours. Hmmm I guess that's it, we just came back from the castle now She went back to to hostel and I'm here writing to you... I guess I will never see her again... oh well there are lots of other nice people in the world. Love you all!

Leaving Dublin

That's it I guess... tomorrow I'm leaving Dublin. I have Said goodbye to everyone but I promised to return. I had a nice time today but there is nothing interesting to tell... From now on I won't write so often because there won't be a computer available all the time but I think you can handle it. Love you all!

Swimming in the Irish sea

Hi there all how's going?
Today I worked a little bit in my uncle garden, it was pretty nice because they are giving me place to sleep and food to eat and I haven't done anything for them so that was a nice opportunity. I've met my cousin Sam today, cute 11 years old child, he went with me and with Melany to the sea today. The Irish sea is very cold for those of you who are interested.. The water's temperature is something like 4 degrees (very cold) of course that didn't stop me from jumping into them over and over again... when you look on the pictures try to imagine cold winds, icy water and frozen rocks... and if you ask about the girls.. well they are Canadian.. have a nice time!

After the drinking contest

Ok i know what you think... You think that I've lost don't you?
WRONG!!!!
After drinking 5 pints of Guinness and a bit of tasting from all the other drinks (this was tough training during the day) I've won the contest. It wasn't easy but I came ready, drunk quickly and she was shocked and gave up. I wanted to buy another pint after the fifth but they closed the bar at midnight so I couldn't. I had a little headache during the day but it was worth it.
I'm a bit tired of writing and Smititzki wants to see the pictures so I will stop here. have a nice time and see ya when I will come back.
