Swimming in the Irish sea

Hi there all how's going?
Today I worked a little bit in my uncle garden, it was pretty nice because they are giving me place to sleep and food to eat and I haven't done anything for them so that was a nice opportunity. I've met my cousin Sam today, cute 11 years old child, he went with me and with Melany to the sea today. The Irish sea is very cold for those of you who are interested.. The water's temperature is something like 4 degrees (very cold) of course that didn't stop me from jumping into them over and over again... when you look on the pictures try to imagine cold winds, icy water and frozen rocks... and if you ask about the girls.. well they are Canadian.. have a nice time!

After the drinking contest

Ok i know what you think... You think that I've lost don't you?
WRONG!!!!
After drinking 5 pints of Guinness and a bit of tasting from all the other drinks (this was tough training during the day) I've won the contest. It wasn't easy but I came ready, drunk quickly and she was shocked and gave up. I wanted to buy another pint after the fifth but they closed the bar at midnight so I couldn't. I had a little headache during the day but it was worth it.
I'm a bit tired of writing and Smititzki wants to see the pictures so I will stop here. have a nice time and see ya when I will come back.

The Batlan is in the land of Leprechauns

Hi there... I'm here in Ireland in my uncle Leslie house for all those of you who were worried (and for those of you who were not). Actually starting my real trip. Leslie have a very nice house and very nice family, (and I'm one of those). I want to thank my uncle Maurice and aunt Shirley on all the things they have done for me. I think I would miss the flight without them... I'm going today to a real Irish pub for the first time in my life and tomorrow Melanie's friend (Leslie's daughter) is coming and she'll make a drinking contest with me so today I'm going to practice... wish me luck and have fun... your: The Batlan!!!

Bye bye London

Ok... Finished the trip in London.. Said goodbye to my family and I'm going tomorrow to the airport for my flight to Ireland. I did so many things today... Went to a picnic, saw the Clink prison museum (the place where the English were torturing their prisoners). Walked by the Thames river... And my real overseas trip hasn't even begun yet. Tomorrow morning I'm flying to Dublin and when I come back you shall all see how much a real Irishman can drink! Promise I won't let you down. Oh, and Bendel, be careful, you won't beat me in a drinking contest!

The Batlan is in london!!!

Hi there, it's 2 days from the day I left Israel and it feels like I haven't been home for ages. First of all the weather here is warm and it's wonderful. I'm wearing a short T-shirt and i think it's a very nice weather for a country who has 10 rainy months every year.
Yesterday I decided to walk from the mall to Shirley and Maurice (my uncle and aunt.) and I met on the way 2 nice israeli girls who work in london called Bela and Kineret. We chatted a little bit, laughing at the manners of the English then we decided to go to a pub in the evening. I'm sorry that there are no pictures from there but I promise to take photos from the pubs in Ireland.
Ok so we went to the pub at night and it turned out to be a dance bar. That means one room is a pub and the other room is for dancing. Let me tell you somthing, it is so different to Israel.
First you actually have a place to dance. People are not so crouded as in israel and it felt nice not to use my elbows all evening. The second thing is that they close the place at 2:00 am. The third thing is that if you are dancing with a girl it doesn't mean someone else can't dance with her. There was a funny part when I sat there and Bela danced with one of the guys there and he slapped her ass. I don't think she really minded but she invited me to dance as well and the guy was very afraid that I might hit him or somthing... it took me a minute or two to calm him down and to make him understand I won't hit him... that's it for now, on monday I'm going to Stonehenge. I hope it's not too hot in Israel and if it is I hope you go to the sea. have a nice time and thank you for reading my blog.
